Shortcuts not working? CTRL + ;

Hello,

This is quote from my settings page:

It is used when inserting current date with Ctrl+; shortcut and in other places in the interface where timestamps are shown.

But I doesn’t work for me.
Also CTRL+: should insert time, this also doensn’t work.

Weird!

On my other laptop (with firefox and the same keyboard layout)
The CTRL + ; WORKS
But not CTRL +:

?? Weird

Just tried edge on ‘my other laptop’ and the shorts are both not working.

Maybe the browsers are picking up this before it’s sent to your javascript?

Hello Peter,

I’m looking into this, sorry for the problem. It works better on Firefox than on Chrome. Looks like my code for shortcuts detection is not very friendly to different keyboard layouts in this place.

Hope to prepare a fix soon.

Hi again,

This should be fixed now, hopefully both for FireFox and for Chrome-based browsers. I’ve tested on Mac-based devices, which I have available at the moment, with Cmd+; and Cmd+: variations, but I hope for Windows it would work, too.

If you have a chance to try it out - please let me know :slight_smile:
