Search with *hide completed items* includes the parents of completed items

Problem description:
When searching in a list with the option hide completed items, the search result includes the parents of completed items. This bloats the results with irrelevant items, making the search less useful.

PS. The search behaves like this both in beta and in main. This is maybe by design, but I’m reporting it as a bug anyway…

Suggestion:
Please hide the parents of completed items when searching with the option hide completed items.

Thanks for reporting it, it is indeed rather a bug than a feature :slight_smile:

But Checkvist should probably show both parents and found sub-items if you disable hide completed mode. Probably this is a complication why we haven’t implemented it at the first try.
