Reminders and Notifications

Hi,

adding an exact time to a due date that would trigger a reminder notification directly in the browser is the killing feature I’m really missing to make checkvist my ultimate and only tool.

Am I missing something here or is there no way to add a reminders / notifications ?

I’ve been using Checkvist for a few month and this by far the best tool of this type I ever used.

Hello,

A possible way to add a time-based reminder is:

• Get a PRO plan (or PRO Trial, for testing)
• Enable integration with a calendar app via URL: https://checkvist.com/auth/help#calendar_integration
• In the text of the task, use phrase “at 13:35”, and set a proper Checkvist due date

In this case, the generated task for calendar integration would be assigned to this particular time, and if your calendar app can send reminders, you’ll get this reminder.

This feature is not official but reportedly work for iOS Calendar app, for instance

I still think integrated reminders is a must have.

Hi!
I’m setting notifications for events in Google Calendar settings.
But after creating new task with due date in Checkvist calendar notifications settings are gone. So it is impossible to get any notifications from Google calendar.

Could you please tell which exact settings disappear? I’d like to reproduce the problem - that’s why I’m asking for more details.
