Previously you could select multiple tasks and press ‘lc’ to get a new-line delimited list of permalinks. These links could then be pasted into a checklist and each link would show up on a separate line. At some point over the past few weeks, the newline has disappeared.
Hello @Aaron_Robinson ,
Sorry for the late reply - but so far I cannot reproduce the problem.
Checkvist creates a list of links on lc
in the clipboard, and when I paste the results, it offers to create several items when pasting. It does offer this unless you unselected Offer multi-line paste option on the Settings page of Checkvist.
There is no empty line between copied links, but there is a newline between them, so the links are not on the same line.
Or I’m missing something?
Kind regards,
KIR
Here’s what happens on my machine currently (haven’t installed Chrome to test there).
Brave browser (tested in clean private window, not logged in):
Select two or more links, type ‘lc’
Paste into notepad
Result = no newlines
Select two or more links, press ctrl + c
Paste into notepad
Result = has newlines
Edge browser:
Select two or more links, type ‘lc’
Paste into notepad
Result = has newlines
Select two or more links, press ctrl + c
Paste into notepad
Result = has newlines
Hello @Aaron_Robinson ,
I’ve just tested your scenario on Windows machine, in Chrome and Edge - works on both.
To copy text, Checkvist uses Javascript API that is considered deprecated, but it is still supported in the majority of the browsers. Could it be that there are some limitations in Brave browser?
At least, people had some issues with copy command in Brave browser: Copying text from website with Ctrl+C - #3 by rodrige - browser - Brave Community
Kind regards,

It wouldn’t surprise me at all it’s caused by a Brave browser compatibility issue.
Oh well, it is what it is I’ll just continue working around it. Thanks for taking a look.
This appears to be fixed now, dunno if it was something you guys did or it was a Brave browser update
We haven’t changed anything, we would tell
