these notifications appear too often, for example on each date changing, importing. personally would be nice to have an option to dismiss/turn off them

Hello,
Totally agree our ‘status updates’ notifications are a bit outdated (after 10 years of service!) and deserve some re-thinking and refactoring
There’s no way to disable them right now, but you won’t need to do after we improve them.
