Editing multi-line text that has an email address. There are empty lines between the email address and where my text cursor is. “Invite more people…” keeps popping up, disrupting my editing and requiring me to hit Esc to get rid of it. I move cursor around, but as soon as I put it back between the end of email address and the start of the text that follows, the popup is back. I never intended to invite anybody to my list, I just want to save contact info.
Hello @rubaboo ,
Thanks alot for describing the problem. Could you please check how it now works on beta.checkvist.com? I hope we’ve fixed the issue there.
Thanks again,
KIR
Fixed in both beta and release. Thank you.
Email address:
has non-whitespace characters preceding @
The popup does not appear at all.
— Expected behaviour.
Mention:
a lexical token that starts with @
The popup appears only when
- editing the token
- moving the cursor inside the token, including to the ends
- putting the cursor in the token with mouse click
— Much less intrusive. For those who do collaborate in Checkvist, this is likely the expected behaviour.
