I was wondering if we could get inherited tags as a toggleable option. The idea is that if I tag a list, everything inside that list should also be tagged with the same tag. Same with all children of a tagged parent.
For me personally, it would just be a way of easily seeing everything that belongs to a tag without having to tag every single item.
So if I had for example the following:
Parent #awesometag
Child #cooltag
And I searched for #awesometag, both Parent and Child would appear in the results (Child nested under Parent). But if I searched for #cooltag, only Child would appear in the search results.
Alternatively, an option to expand/collapse each item in the search results would probably work too. I think
My brain is quite messy so sorry if this isn’t clear enough!
I agree that this is also useful, for example I have an item that i called Research on #MyceliumLeather, every sub-item will be about mycelium leather as well. So I would like them to appear on the search results. Also if below that I have a sub-item with Research on #ConsumerExpectations, whenever I search for #MyceliumLeather and #ConsumerExpectations, only the sub items of “Research on #ConsumerExpectations” that are under “Research on #MyceliumLeather” should appear. I think this is a very neat way to solving the issue of having to tag each item
