How to show repeat frequency in body of note, without pressing dr on each note?

Repeating frequency: Most of my tasks serve as reminders that repeat. Is there a way to show the frequency of the reminder without pressing dr on each task? If I know that I will be reminded again in a week, I will be more prone to mark it complete. But if I won’t be reminded for another year, I might keep it open for a while or adjust it to repeat at a different interval. Other than that I am ecstatic over Checkvist.

Hello,

When you use the option “reopen the same day the task is closed”, Checkvist will set the next due date right the same day you close the task, so you should be able to see the next due immediately.
Isn’t it what you’re looking for?

Or you need to keep the task closed until the next due approaches?

Kind regards,
KIR

Thanks for the quick response. When I select the “DUE” tab from the main top menu bar, the resulting list shows in red the date an item was due. If it is a repeating task, it also shows the repeat icon(circular arrow). But I have no idea when it will repeat unless I press “dr” at each due task. If i press the spacebar to complete the task in “due” mode, the task then disappears from “due” view. Most of my “tasks” are just to refresh my memory, for example to remind me of a word in Spanish that I need to be reminded of occasionally. Before I mark it complete, it would help if i saw the next time it would be due, then I might adjust it. If I keep forgetting it, I would shorten the time interval, etc.

Hello,

One of the ideas I have now is to switch to the Due view, than use “Repeating tasks sub-tab”, and then filter the list with due:overdue.

Thus you’ll be able to see both the repeating interval and when the task was due the last time.

Would it help?
