Handling completed tasks

I like a lot about Checkvist. One thing I don’t like is its handling of done tasks. I like being able to view done tasks, but I don’t like having them pile way if I want to keep track. Is there any possibility of, say, having a separate but connect list that contains all completed tasks?

Or… any suggestions?

I created a Jupyter notebook (in my case hosted in Google colab) that uses the Checkvist API to find all of my completed items and move them to a single archive list, under headings by completion date with indication of their source list and how many days between creation and completion. I just took this from time to time to clean up.

Hi,

One of the options could be to

  • filter current list with in:closed filter
  • set selection to a list item and press ctrl+A or cmd+a to select all completed items
  • use mm to move completed items to another list
