I also checked out the recently switched German server, but unfortunately it seems quite unreliable. I’m glad I decided not to switch and stayed on the old server.
Since Checkvist moved to this German server, errors have become increasingly frequent. I hadn’t reported anything earlier, hoping it would improve, but now I feel it’s important to mention, as the problems are happening more often, especially when loading existing documents.

I can give you a precise answer, because this issue came up again while I was doing my weekly list cleanup.
On macOS 15.6.1 (24G90), using the Brave browser, I opened 10 lists in sequence from the homepage. At first, I thought the problem might be tied to certain specific lists, but it turned out not to be the case – it happens with any list.
Since the server migration, I’ve often noticed stuttering even with smaller lists containing only 50–200 items. This is very different from the expected slowdown after importing thousands of lines. In those cases the system just becomes slower, which is normal. But here the whole interface almost freezes, as if the system has stopped responding.
To rule out a browser-specific issue, I tested it in Safari and Firefox as well. The exact same thing happened there too, even after clearing the cache.
Then I did full maintenance on my machine: ran CCleaner, used Disk Utility, cleared the browser cache, restarted the system. Even after that, when I tried opening just one list, all I got was the “Loading page…” message, and the list content never loaded.
This happened with several smaller lists too, none of which contained even a thousand lines. So I can’t be more specific than this, but one thing I know for sure: this problem only started after your server migration. Before that, I never experienced anything like it.
It is weird, I looked through the logs, I’ve seen your session that day, but I could not see errors this time.
May I ask you about two things - if you see a error like “We’re sorry, but something went wrong.” - please write down us about it right away, noticing the exact time and page URL.
When you see a error like “Loading…” - please do the same, but in addition to the time and page URL, also please take a look at the Javascript console, as the problem might come from the javascript side.
