I have a very strange and annoying problem when I use Checkvist with Google Chrome.
When I press ñ, Checkvist types ``
When I press ), Checkvist types ()
When I press ', Checkvist types []
When I press ?, Checkvist types {}
When I press {, Checkvist types '' (with the cursor between the two apostrophes)
The problem does not occur using Firefox.
I am using Linux (Ubuntu 20.04 LTS) with an Spanish keyboard.
Feel free to ask me for any information you need to try to resolve the bug.
Hmm. That’s, obviously, a bug. Did not test it properly on other keyboards. I’ll take a look if I could fix it here, on vacation. Will let you know.
Could you please check how it now works on https://beta.checkvist.com? I hope I’ve fixed the problem but I don’t have a native keyboard so I cannot check for sure.
Basically, the behaviour you faced is related to this update: Pairing of brackets/quotes
