Add item but stay focused on same line?

Hi All! My first post - searched but couldn’t find this answer…

Is there a way to add a new list item but then remain on the same line so I can do things like “td” on it?

I know you could just go [enter] [up] but saving the key click…well I think I don’t have to explain that to Checkvist users :smile:

Option 1: when entering new item type ^today at the end of the item to set due (there is completion)
Option 2: disable setting Show an empty text field after adding a task in Checkvist settings
