Items dated beyond next year go in to a Later bin in the Due list. It would nice to manually add ^later to items to show up alphabetically after the dated Later items in the Due list. I’d like to keep books/movies, etc whose release date has past that I’d still like to read/see at some point, just not asap. Thanks!

Maybe adding a separate list for such items would make more sense? Have you considered it?

Sure, I have separate lists of fun things to do “later.” The reason I’d like to keep some additional later items at the bottom of the Due list is to serve as a reward system of things to do when you’re done with the task list. I can simply put those items in a year past the next year, i.e. 2027, and have them show up in later. Just thought a ^later tag was a nice analogue to the ^asap tag. Thanks.
Got it. Adding ^later or ^someday concept was already asked for, it is not a quick fix, unfortunately.
